Zhanzhan Zhao

Zhanzhan Zhao serves as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Computational Health Informatics Program (CHIP) at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, mentored by Drs. William La Cava and Maia Majumder. She earned her Ph.D. in Machine Learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where her research focused on unraveling and mitigating biases within algorithms, data, and societal structures. Prior to CHIP, she was a postdoctoral fellow in the Algorithms, Fairness, and Equity Program at the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute in Berkeley.
